Porn and I

All men are therapistsI have a rather ambivalent attitude to porn. On the one hand, I can appreciate why many people find it dehumanising and degrading; on the other, it has been a trusty masturbatory companion for many years.

I can still remember the eye-popping occasion when one of my best friends showed me his father’s “secret” porn stash. This was serious, hard-core pornography, not the kind of thing that was easily available in 1973 in my quiet home town. We were 14 years old. Up until that point, my only experience of porn had been the odd Penthouse or Men Only magazine sniggered over in the school yard.

I can remember looking at the pictures with awe. Women drooling over massive erections, being penetrated in every available orifice and giving every indication of thoroughly enjoying it. Those pictures were etched into my brain and stayed with me for many months as a mental slideshow during the serious business of pubescent masturbation.

Later, at university, I was exposed to alternative views on the acceptability of porn. Andrea Dworkin was popular with many feminist students and they espoused her position that pornography is a tool by which men control, objectify, and subjugate women. I could understand (and even, to some extent, agree with) their view but, by now, I had my own secret porn stash that I used as an aid to masturbation and I didn’t really think that I was subjugating anyone even if I did feel slightly guilty once the deed was done.

The Internet, of course, has brought hard-core porn to the masses and, like many others, I had a sub-section of bookmarks that linked to a few favoured sites for masturbatory enjoyment. I speak in the past tense because, although the bookmarks are still there, I haven’t clicked one for well over a month.

I can’t really imagine watching porn without the underlying intention to masturbate (C is totally uninterested in porn so it’s not something we watch together) and since I can’t masturbate (or won’t, if you prefer), why watch porn? All that would happen is that I would be crippled with an erection and unable to do anything about it.

It looked like porn was off the agenda and that was just fine until yesterday.

Yesterday I was reading some of the archived material on Thumper’s site and, in one post he mentions “ruined orgasm”. He was talking about a video he had seen and he provided a link (obviously NSFW). Bloody hell! Some of that was really, really hot.

Am I going to seek out similar material? You bet I am.

I’m going to look upon it as teasing myself.

Oddly enough, I tend to look at porn online much more when I’m wearing a chastity device than when I’m not. Perhaps it’s because being aroused without the ability to resolve it is much more ‘delicious’ than just looking at naked ladies –> wanking off. It preserves and prolongs the edge, as it were.

It will be interesting to see how/if your feelings and opinions change when you’re safely ensconced in your CB-6000.

      Hi Billus,

I can see what you mean. Quick question: is it not painful getting an erection in a CBXXX? Most accounts relate painful or, at least, uncomfortable night-time erections but I can’t recall seeing anything about day-time wood.

Being crippled up with agony would certainly generate a Pavlovian response to porn after a while.

Not all erections are created equal. Some only result in what I’ve come to feel is a satisfyingly “kept” kind of feeling as the flesh tries to fill out. Others, especially the nighttime variety or when I’m *really* aroused, can hurt, but even then it’s inconsistent. When I was first starting out and wasn’t accustomed to the device there was more pain than there is now. Some of it was intense, but once I figured out how to manage the spacers and rings, I settled in.

Oddly enough, I find after wearing the tube for a little while, the cock won’t get hard as easily as it did when it was free. Like it’s been trained not to bother. It’ll get plump and fill the tube, but not really hard and not enough to require extreme restraint.

My experience is most of the pain comes from the ring, either rubbing or chafing. keeping it lubed and yourself clean helps much. I can’t say there’s any real pain with erections, except to say it “hurts so good”. The first few days, you can literally think of nothing else. As I mentioned previously, it’s a ‘delicious’ feeling.

The first night I sleep locked up, the excitement keeps me awake more than any erection problems; after that, I sleep normally with little or no discomfort. As Thumper said, getting the rings and spacers sorted out will be the most difficult part. I don’t shave my pubic area, so I have a bit of hair pinching the first day, but I’ve learned to sort that out pretty quickly now.

Once you get into it, you’ll be able to enjoy porn a lot more, I think. Or perhaps appreciate it better, seeing fellows getting plenty of what you’re not.

I am very new to this and just got my CB-6000 yesterday. I was lucky enough to get a pretty good fit right from the start using Thumper’s tips. I have been wearing it since yesterday afternoon, about 32 hours. In that time, all of the erections while awake have been pleasurable. It’s a tight constricted sensation and only a partial erection. There’s almost a good frustration that you can’t get hard enough. But no pain.

Everyone else is right, nighttime was tough. Actually painful but it subsided as soon as you wake up enough to realize what’s going on. Once you remember your locked away, you can relax and it goes away enough to get back to sleep. However, I am not looking forward to going to bed in it tonight, just in case it’s as bad as last night. I have increased my spacers just in case it might help.

  4. The adult entertainment industry is quite forceful and crowded. Because porn sells, there are absolutely numerous adult firms and content producers in active operations. This is so nice information.
